How much sunscreen should be used?

• Use an amount equal to a teaspoon for the face and half a palm for the body.

How often should I apply sunscreen?

• To ensure perfect sun protection, you should reapply the light sunscreen every three hours.

When should I apply sunscreen?

• Sunscreen needs 30 minutes to develop its full effect. Apply it carefully to areas that are most exposed to the sun, such as the forehead, cheeks, under the eyes and on the nose.

Organic vs. Chemical Sunscreen:

• Organic Sunscreen: Forms a thin protective layer and reflects UV radiation. It is hypoallergenic and has an extremely strong adhesive force.
• Chemical Sunscreen: Absorbs and neutralizes UV radiation. It has a fresh, light texture, is non-sticky and does not leave a white finish.

SPF and PA Index:

• SPF protects against UVB radiation (sunburn): UVB radiation does not penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, but causes painful sunburn and irritation.
• PA protects against UVA radiation: UVA radiation penetrates the skin and causes wrinkles, pigmentation and skin cancer. The PA value of a sunscreen indicates the protection against UVA radiation, the "+" indicates the PPD value of the sunscreen (persistent pigment darkening, i.e. how much slower the skin darkens compared to unprotected skin). PA +++ means it takes 8-16 times longer for the skin to react to UVA rays than without sunscreen. PA++ means shorter than 8, PA++++ at least 16 times longer.
